Experience
I previously tutored a student from 7th Grade-9th Grade. She is an English Language Learner from China and I was able to improve her grades. I tutored her English reading, writing, comprehension in English, History, Science, test prep, papers, projects, etc. I am an active member of my Toastmasters Public Speaking Club. I have given numerous speeches and won awards with positive evaluations from my club members. Currently I am a teacher in a preschool and enjoy teaching and interacting with children of all ages. I want to tutor you because I can make learning enjoyable and fun. I want to help you reach your goals and have that feeling of accomplishment. Together we can teach each other great things. I strive to be a partner in your learning. I am patient, a careful person who will explain concepts and vocabulary to you so you will understand it. I can read a paragraph or story to you and we can discuss it together. In writing I will assist you in preparing an outline, a rough draft, edit it with feedback, and then write a final draft. In studying for a test I will go over the study guide with you. Then review any topics you are unsure about, discuss the subject with you, test you, and review further any subject you still need attention on. Hobbies
My hobbies include: Writing poetry, songs, short stories, full stories. Singing songs and playing on my keyboard. I'm currently learning how to play my acoustic guitar. I enjoy reading and have a bookshelf full of books. I love going to the library and bookstore to indulge my love of reading. Also I enjoy working out at the gym. I believe in staying fit and healthy by cardio aerobics classes, running, swimming, playing with the kids, etc.
