Andrew B.
Private tutor in Cupertino, CA
Education
Universidad De Guadalajara 1year as an exchange student. Studying abroad in Mexico was such a valuable experience. Being completely immersed in the culture forced me to learn to speak the language very quickly. I had great teachers at St. Mary's in the Spanish Department. This gave me a solid foundation to spring forth my ability in this area of study.
Experience
I have worked as a bilingual tutor at an elementary school and a middle school in Berkeley. During college I tutored high school students in Spanish. I have worked as a bilingual substitute teacher for several years in Redwood City. Working as a tutor is a great opportunity to help students to improve in their subject matter. I would like to gain more experience working as a tutor so I can be more effective to a wide range of students. Any way I can be of help to reach their academic goals great.
